About

Russ: I was born in Santa Barbara California. Soon after I was born, my family moved to Reno Nevada, where I spent most of my life growing up. During High School, I started to attend a local Baptist church, and shortly thereafter became a Christian. In 1996 I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Film Scoring. I was an intern at Hanz Zimmer’s production company, and completed a hand full of small projects, but soon changed my major to computer science. In 1998 I started to work as a programmer for Eyematic Interfaces Inc. where I helped to create and test applications for facial recognition. I graduated from CSLA in 2003 with a BS in Computer Science. The same year I moved to Romania to live and volunteer at a Children’s Home. While in Romania, in 2003, I was married. I lived in Romania for a year and a half, then moved back to California. My wife and I now live in Southern California where I work as an IT Administrator, and co-founder of Innoblast LLC, a web application development company.

Silvia: I was born in Severin, Romania. When I was 6 years old I moved to Otelu Rosu and grew up there until 2004. In 1998 I graduated high school and started volunteering at the children’s home Humanatas Pro Deo. I helped poor children with their homework, choir, games, and serving them lunch. I later became an employee working as a kindergarten teacher. Although I had been involved with my church since I was 14, in 2002 I became a Christian and started to be more involved in what God is calling me to do – to minister to children. In June of 2004 I finished college with degrees in Elementary School Teaching and Foreign Language Teaching. In 2003 “I” became a “we” when Russ and I got married. In 2004, we moved to southern California, where we now live, while I attend College, and work in Retail.
